“ANCHOR” : a device, usually of metal, attached to a ship or boat by a cable or chain and lowered to the seabed to hold the vessel in a particular place. In ancient times, the anchor was viewed as a symbol that represented safety; because of this, Christians adopted the anchor as a symbol of hope, strength, and security.
Much like an Anchor works to hold a boat in place to prevent the boat from sailing away or capsizing we do the same in our daily existence. Figuratively speaking, throughout the volatility and curveballs life throws at us, we hold ourselves down despite it all. Some of the highs feel so short-lived but the lows feel eternal. To stay afloat, We keep our feet cemented in the ground, and pivot our way through countless situations. As the tides flow, we mange to keep ourselves above water. There were many moments where we thought we’d drown, yet we’ve made it this far.
